MADIE
MARKETING ASSISTANTMeet Madie, our Marketing extraordinaire and professional collector of hobbies! She’s happiest when she’s moving, creating, exploring, or surrounded by her favourite people.
She’s currently completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, but when she’s not on her mat, there’s a good chance she’s dancing with her friends at a EDM show, planning her next music festival trip, exploring a new trail with her dog, or getting way too invested in a game night with her boyfriend!
She is always up for an adventure, travelling somewhere new, trying a food she’s never heard of before, finding a new hiking trail, getting her hands dirty in the garden, or starting another silly little art project.
At her core, Madie loves anything that brings people together. She’s a big believer in staying curious, saying yes to new experiences, finding reasons to be creative, and squeezing as much fun as possible into everyday life.
LANA
MARKETING ASSISTANT & UGC CREATORLana is our marketing girly with a big personality, a million fresh content ideas, and absolutely no problem convincing people to get a little silly on camera! Think funny reels, intriguing levels of confidence, and the occasional “trust me, this is going to be hilarious!” before making someone do something they definitely did not plan on doing that day. (The camera shy folks never stood a chance).
When she’s not brainstorming ideas for Long Dog, Lana is finishing her final semester of her Marketing degree at SAIT, working as a bartender and server, or living her best gym girl life with a side of protein goals and meal prep. Lana boasts having 47 tabs going on at once and will probably add another 5 before the day is over.
Lana is also a UGC Creator on the Long Dog Talent roster! She is excited to get in front of the camera, work with brands, and keep growing her personal brand. She loves creative ideas, big personalities, and content that makes people stop scrolling. She's a firm believer that marketing should be fun, brands should have personality, and nobody should have to suffer through another boring reel.
She's here to bring the energy, have a few laughs, and help the Long Dog pack keep doing what it does best: building brands that bark back!

LEAD PHOTOGRAPHERMeet Cede! Our fun biologist, outdoor enthusiast, and a amazing lifestyle photographer. When she is not chasing the perfect light, you can usually find her skiing, camping, exploring the city, or hanging out with her dog Molly!
Her background in science makes her a natural observer, and her approach behind the camera is all about connection and collaboration. Cede brings comfort & casual fun energy to her photoshoots, making you and your business feel like we’re all just hanging out and having a good time!
KIELBASA
GOOD BOY | TIME PUNCHERLong Dog is inspired by our owner Emily’s Dachshund, Kielbasa. Wherever she is, he shadows right beside her! Infusing the business with the values similar of a dog, someone who is there every step of the way with unconditional love, attention, and care.
The fifteen pound sausage dog packs his punch in personality and always stands out in a crowd, these are the brand traits and values we instill into our work and brand.

MEET EMILY
Emily Heidinger is the Founder behind Long Dog, a Calgary based creative marketing agency built around one simple idea: great brands should have personality.
Emily began her career as a Graphic Designer back in 2019, where she built a strong foundation in branding, visual storytelling, and the little details that make businesses memorable. That design first mindset still shapes Long Dog today, where strategy, creativity, content, and strong visual identities come together to help brands bark back.
What started as a passion for design has grown into a bigger vision: building a creative ecosystem where brands, people, and ideas can connect. Today, Long Dog proudly has two arms:
Long Dog Agency, helping businesses build, market, and grow their brands.
Long Dog Talent, connecting brands with creative talent and creators who bring those brands to life.
Emily is a big believer in the power of people. She loves bringing people together, making introductions, creating opportunities, and turning a room full of strangers into a room full of connections. She brings that same energy into her work. Emily has never believed that business needs to be boring or that brands need to fit inside a box. She’s passionate about big personalities, bold ideas, genuine connections, and creating brands that feel like the amazing humans behind them.
She also loves building and mentoring her team, believing the best creative work comes from collaboration, trust, and shared ideas. Long Dog has never been a one-person show, it’s a collection of talented people bringing different skills, perspectives, and personalities to the table.
Outside of work, you’ll probably find Emily at an event, meeting someone new, supporting a local business, tearin up a dance floor, or convincing someone that they absolutely need to be friends!
